07/01-09/11
A trip looooong in the works that encountered a few speed bumps along the
way, but we were determined to see it through. Plans fell through to borrow a
camper leading to last minute scrambling to find hotels costing alot more then
camping..... Going to the Sun Road was still closed due to record snow
amounts..... and on our first days drive we had to leave our car in Billings to
get a new transmission and clutch. But what's a family vacation without a few
good stories, right?! Glacier National Park is appropriately named "The Crown of the Continent"
for this stunning area where the older rock sit on top of newer rock due to the Lewis
Overthrust and glaciers carved the mountains and valleys millions of years
ago.
